i need help

hi i've been working for wal mart for over a year and i love my job in cosmetics but for some reason i've been the target of management they have decide to pick at everything i do. they gave me a write up because i was helping a friend in stationary with the telxon. they said i was not in my department and that's why and now i not even allowed to talk to my best friend cause i f they see us talking i could loose my job. my asst.mangr is n complete perv he only lets the other two girls in my department get away with murder cause they flirt with him. if they call in he lets them make it up. if they late he lets them work there complete shift and fixes it the computer. i don't feel that i have to lower my standards to get somewhere in this company. i feel that my work should be enough and not how much ass i kiss. i went to the store manager about it. and he does not believe me i lost i don't need to loose my job.

So,So,sorry to hear so much unrest in the walmart corporation.After working for Sam's Club, going on 20 years ,I know how you feel! I have seen a wonderful company, go straight to hell! And become an evil empire. You know that if old man Sam could see what his associates are being put through he would be spinning in his grave. now There was a man that respected his people. The co. is now too big for it's britches. We are all slaves to the co. and the all mighty dollar.We have to eat , we have children and bills. and Oh boy look out for the ANTI CHRIST who is in the white house. I hate to be the bearer of bad news the Walmart corporation is precursor of worse things to come.I myself will be capping soon.The only way for me to get ahead would be to go back into mngmnt.My husband is terminally ill, so I will be left to support my household.I am not sure that I am strong enough to not lose my soul If I goe back into mngmnt.My Management smiles at me, tells me what I want to hear, and pats me on the back sends me on my way.we all need to keep an eye on our backs ,you will see your schedule change on short notice, slips will dissapear from your drawer, money will be short, If you ask too many questions or dissagree too loudly no matter how right you are, they will get rid of you. I am greatfull to have this job, I just wish that I could be happier in it. Gooduck to all of us we, need faith and look for better jobs out side of our prison.

I understand all the comments that are made. i was up for vacation soon and was denied it because the time was not right. So , i lost my vacation time. that was so wrong. Anothe employee took off in September ,around the holiday but, it was said no-one could take off. I guess it's just who you no and how much toilette tissue you us. Mr Sams i did not no but, heard he was fare. i'm sure he is tearing that grave up ,after what he sees. god, i pray for the soles that work for walmart company. gotta eat, and survive. i love my job not, the company it keeps.

Yeah, I'm a Greeter on Overnights. I've suffered harassment, abuse, I've even had an Asst. Manager put his finger in my face. The other night we were having to attend the 2009 Insurance meeting (which was another slap in the face). I have to relieve the other greeter on Fri&Sat nights so she goes to break. She gets back and I go to break & 12:20am. One of my Asst.Managers(we'll call him Fat(_!_)) is there and tells me when I get back that I am late from my break and I'm supposed to be there @ 12am. I told him I hadn't went to break til 12:20 and I was back at 12:35am (15 Min). He told me i was too late then I told him,"Yeah, yeah, I'm getting chewed out for something I didn't do - AGAIN!! He told me i needed to shut my mouth. Then I go over by the carts (on my door) and he's down at Register 5 staring at me. Then he goes to mouthing somthing at me like I can hear him. I walk over to him and ask what he says??? - He says,"YOU NEED TO BE ON YOUR DOOR!!! "Ok, How am I not on my door, Fat(_!_)?" He tells me I'm supposed to be where I can greet the customer... Then I told him that if he'd tell me exactly where he wants me to stand that I would. Then he tells me I'm pushing it. At this point I just want him to fire me and get it over with so I can go on with my life. That is the second time too that I've wanted to knock him smooth out. I'm at my wits end except to find another job.

Terminated without a written or verbal

I was a pharmacist for Walmart and was terminated by the supervisor for gross misconduct for saying FU to the pharmacy manger who has made so many dispensing errors it is scarry. I need to get hold of a current policy and procedure manual. I have never had a customer complaint nor any kind of discipline in the past. I have been a pharmacist for over 30 years. I am stunned.
Anyone that can get one and send to me, I would appreciate it.

an affair was reported and still nothing is done was pissed me off is this

manger walks around telling other mangers the store manger always say report

anything that makes uncomfortable open door policy well that is a big joke

Unionize

Many of your comments resonate with me and make me remember when I worked at my local Wal-Mart. I particularly remember the "indoctrination" during the training period and how they actually have a video about their reasoning behind their anti-union stance. Well, of course they are going to be against unions because a union would bust up their ideal earning environment for the company and the big wigs at the top and might actually bring about the requirement for a living wage for their grunt workers that keep the stores running day and night. They (Wal-Mart) claim that a union would take money out of the workers' pockets but wouldn't really give them anything in return and would in effect drive up the cost of doing business which could cost jobs. And my thoughts regarding that are that if that is the case, then the job cuts should start at the very top - those getting paid the most. Some of their jobs, if you factor in bonuses and perks, would most likely cover 20 to 30 or more of the lowest paid workers in the Wal-Mart machine.

Bad roads are npt accepted as a reason for not making it to work. What's up with that..Living on the Palouse makes it impossible to .ale it to work so they are making me use personal days. It sucks. No sympathetic ears in management.
